Suzanne O’Brien, CFNP

Suzanne is originally from Valley Forge,  Pennsylvania .  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1991. Upon graduation, she worked at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. than went on to work as a public health nurse for Arlington County .It was in this position that she realized she wanted to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated in 1995 with a Master’s degree from the George Mason /George Washington Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She has spent the last 20 years working as a nurse practitioner in the same pediatric practice in Loudoun County before joining Pediatric Associates of Alexandria in February 2019.  Suzanne enjoys meeting new families, getting to know them and their children and watching them grow and develop over the years. She enjoys sharing her passion for health and wellness with them as well. 

Suzanne lives in Alexandria with her husband, two daughters and their black lab , Pixie. When she is not spending time with them or walking Pixie, she is running , cooking (healthy foods of course) gardening and reading
