Eileen Mood, CPNP, IBCLC

Eileen Counihan Mood is a native of Greenville, SC. After completing a nursing degree in 1996, Eileen worked for five years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. In the NICU, she worked as part of the resuscitation team and on the grief counseling committee. In 2001, Eileen became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She worked for a large pediatric practice in Miami, FL, before joining PAA in 2007. Eileen is Board Certified by the National Certification Board of Registered Nurse Practitioners. She has received a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University, a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters of Nursing Science from Georgia State University. Eileen became qualified as a Lactation educator; in 2009 and received her board certification in 2017 with the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants.

Eileen began practicing in pediatric mental health in 2020. She received her  board certification  as a pediatric primary care mental health specialist in 2024. 

Eileen lives with her four kids in a constant state of chaos.
