Camila Espinal, MD

Dr. Camila Espinal was born in Medellín, Colombia, and spent her formative years in Miami, Florida. She later returned to her hometown to pursue a degree in medicine at Universidad CES. After completing medical school, Dr. Espinal relocated to Washington, D.C. to complete her pediatric residency at Children's National Hospital, with a focus on primary care. During her time in the DMV area, she fell in love with the region and decided to make it her home. Dr. Espinal joined Pediatric Associates of Alexandria following her residency.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Espinal enjoys practicing yoga, taking spin classes, and exploring new destinations. As a native Spanish speaker, Dr. Espinal is able to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
