Christiana Budu, D.N.P., C.F.N.P.
Christiana is originally from Nigeria, grew up in Georgia and moved to Virginia in 2004. In 2002 she received her first Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Mercer University in Macon, GA. While still at Mercer, Christiana joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves. After 16 years of service she continues to serve as a Training Manager for a medical unit at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. In 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason Universitys Accelerated Second degree program. As a registered nurse she provided care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Inova Fairfax Childrens Hospital for over 7 years. During her time in the PICU she became board certified as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse. In 2011, Christiana returned to her Alma Mater, George Mason to pursue graduate studies. Christiana graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in May of 2015, and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She joined Pediatric Associates of Alexandria in January of 2016. Christiana has a great interest in primary and preventative medicine and looks forward to working with families to keep children healthy.
During her spare time Christiana loves to read and spend quality time with her family and friends.
